Job Description

Probationary Teaching Assistants (4) for the 2025-2026 School Year-All Grade Levels K-Grade 12.

Start Date:  September 1, 2025 

Locations: Colonie Central High School (1), Sand Creek Middle School (2) and Veeder Elementary School (1).

Job Qualifications

General Requirements:

Teaching Assistant, Early Childhood or Childhood Education Teacher NYS Certification.

Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole.

Creativity and insight into core curriculum.

Experience with students with varying abilities, solid organizational skills and willingness to facilitate hands-on activities.

According to the SCTA TA Contract - Base salary of $28,273.00, additional allowances for degrees and certifications.  Competitive benefits.
