POSITION TITLE: School Nurse (R.N.) (10 Months per year)
REPORTING TO: Supervisor of Special Programs/Building Principal/Administrator
HOURS: 7.0 hours per day (Monday - Friday)
CURRENT LOCATION: Colonie Central High School
START DATE: September 2025
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
According to the CSEA Contract. $47,973.00 base starting salary range, plus $2,000.00 nurse stipend, $4000 nurse safety stipend. Competitive salary and benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The School Nurse, under the supervision of the Supervisor of Special Programs and/or the building Principal/Administrator, is responsible for providing health services in the assigned building.
The work is performed under the general direction of school administrators and the school district's medical director in accordance with prescribed health standards and school district policies.
A State Education Department Registered Nurse's license is required. A copy of the license must be submitted.
