Job Description

Temporary Teaching Assistant  for the 2025-2026 School Year-High School Grades 9-12, 9:1:2 classroom. 

Start Date: December 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.

Job Qualifications

General Requirements:

Teaching Assistant or NYS Teacher Certification.

Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole.

Creativity and insight into core curriculum.

Familiarity and experience providing instruction and support for students at the high school level.

Experience with students with varying abilities, solid organizational skills and willingness to facilitate hands-on activities.

Salary and Benefits:

According to the SCTA TA Contract - Base salary of $28,273.00, additional allowances for degrees and certifications.  Competitive benefits.
