Job Description

POSITION TITLE: (1) Assistant Cook Manager

REPORTING TO: Food Service Director/Assistant Food Service Director/Cook Manager I

CURRENT LOCATION: Colonie Central High School

HOURS: 7.0 hours per day  (10 Months)

START DATE: ASAP

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To support and assist the cook manager in all phases of staffing, food preparation and ordering, record keeping and maintaining of sanitation standards.

SALARY AND BENEFITS: Schedule P per CSEA Contract ($27,717.00)

Job Qualifications

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS;

• Good knowledge of proven methods of food preparation;
• Working knowledge of modern cooking utensils, appliances and equipment;
• Ability to keep simple records and submit reports;
• Ability to get along well with children and adults;
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions;
• Six (6) months of experience in large-scale cooking.
