The Summer Academy K-4 Principal/Administrator is directly responsible for the Summer Academy K-4 program. The dates for this program will be determined. Responsibilities include planning, staffing, implementing, supervising, coordinating and evaluating the Summer Academy K-4 Program. These activities require workdays beyond the summer school session. Following the completion of the program, the principal/administrator will be required to submit teacher evaluations and a written report to the Superintendent with recommendations for the following year.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
New York State certification in SAS, SDA or SBL or eligibility for administrative internship.
Evidence of at least three years of successful teaching experience in K-4.
COMPENSATION:
The compensation for this position is $4,180.00 as per the Board of Education Policy 9290.
