GRADE 6 TEACHER (1)

The South Colonie School District is seeking (1) Full-Time Probationary Grade 6 Teacher to join our staff for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

OPENINGS: (1) 1.0 Probationary Grade 6 Teacher - at Lisha Kill Middle School 

START DATE: September 1, 2026

Job Qualifications

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

Our ideal candidate should have;

Childhood Education Teacher NYS Certification preferred with Math and Science background.

Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole. Awareness and experience with relative technology mediums would be ideal.

Creativity and insight into core curriculum.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

According to the SCTA Contract  - at least Schedule 1, Step 1 or $57,677.00 depending on experience and transcripts. Competitive benefits.
