Job Description

Long-Term Replacement English Language Arts Teacher for 2026-2027 School Year (Grades 7-8)

Start Date: September 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.

Job Qualifications

General Requirements:

Our ideal candidate should have:

English Language Arts Teacher NYS certification (Grades 7-12).

Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole.  Awareness and experience with relative technology mediums would be ideal.

Creativity and insight into core curriculum.

Benefits and Salary:

According to the SCTA Contract - at least Schedule 1, Step 1 or $57,677.00 depending on experience and transcripts.  Competitive benefits.
