Anticipated Probationary Literacy/Reading Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year Elementary Level K-4

Start Date:  September 1, 2026

Job Qualifications

General Requirements:

Our ideal candidate should have:

• Current certification in NYS Literacy or Reading K-12.
• Experience with RTI/MTSS systems and using data driven instruction.
• Experience working with diverse student groups including Students with Disabilities and English Language Learners.
• Ability to work collaboratively and create strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders including teachers, paraprofessionals, social workers, principals, coordinators, coaches and community members for student success.  

Salary and Benefits:

According to the SCTA Contract - at least Schedule 1, Step 1 or $57,677.00 depending on experience and transcripts.  Competitive benefits.
