The ESY/Summer School Special Education Principal/Administrator is directly responsible for the ESY/Special Education K-12 program. The dates for this program will be determined. Responsibilities include planning, staffing, implementing, supervising, coordinating and evaluating the ESY/Special Education Summer School Program. These activities require workdays beyond the summer school session. Following the completion of the program, the principal/administrator will be required to submit teacher evaluations and a written report to the Superintendent with recommendations for the following year.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
New York State certification in SAS, SDA or SBL or eligibility for administrative internship.
Evidence of at least three years of successful teaching experience in Special Education or related field.
COMPENSATION:
The compensation for this position is $9,850.00 as per the Board of Education Policy 9290.
