Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Custodial Worker 

REPORTING TO: Assistant Director of Facilities / Senior Director of Facilities

HOURS: 8 hours per day (Tuesday - Saturday 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)

START DATE: September 2026

CURRENT LOCATION: Colonie Central High School - MUG

RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs routine building cleaning work; does related work as required.

SALARY AND BENEFITS: According to Schedule h of the CSEA Contract ($39,075.00 starting salary).

Job Qualifications

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

Working knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies and equipment; ability to follow simple oral and written instructions; willingness to perform routine cleaning and other manual tasks; ability to get along well with others; thoroughness; dependability and good physical condition.
