Job Description

Anticipated Substitute/Long-Term Substitute Math AIS 7/8 Lab Teacher at Lisha Kill Middle School. 

Start Date: December 16, 2026 to approximately June 30, 2027

 

Job Qualifications

General Requirements:

Our ideal candidate should have:

• Mathematics Grades 7-8 AIS Lab Teacher with appropriate NYS Certification Grades 7-12 content area experience preferred.
• Experience with iReady and Math Interventionist preferred.
• Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole.  Awareness and experience with relative technology mediums would be ideal.
• Creativity and insight into core curriculum.
• An understanding of best instructional practices when providing targeted, small group instruction.

Salary and Benefits:

According to the School Alliance for Substitutes in Education (SASIE) Contract.  Certified sub $141.00 per day, uncertified $120.00 per day, increase after 20 consecutive days to SCTA Contract Schedule 1, Step 1 or $57,677.00.
