Automotive Mechanic I

POSITION TITLE: Automotive Mechanic I

REPORTING TO: Transportation Director

HOURS: Full-time, 8.0 hours per day (Mon-Fri), 12 months per year

CURRENT LOCATION:  Transportation Department, 2 Winston Place, Albany, NY 12205

START DATE:   ASAP

SALARY & BENEFITS:  Schedule M per CSEA Contract ($51,171.00 starting salary (2025-2026 school year rate)).

RESPONSIBILITIES: This is skilled work involving responsibility for the complete overhaul and repair of a variety of automotive equipment and related types of machinery.
