Temporary English Language Arts Teacher Middle School Level (Grades 7-8) for 2025-2026 

Start Date:  Approximately February 9, 2026 or ASAP.

General Requirements:

English Language Arts NYS Certification (Grades 7-12).

Middle School level teaching experience preferred. 

Effective communication skills to engage students, parents, colleagues and the school community as a whole.  Awareness and experience in relative technology mediums would be ideal.

Creativity and insight into core curriculum.

 Salary and Benefits

According to the SCTA Contract - at least Schedule 1, Step 1 or $56,546.00 depending on experience and transcripts.  Competitive benefits.
