HOURS: 8 hours per day (Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.)

CURRENT LOCATION:  Sand Creek Middle School

ANTICIPATED START DATE: ASAP

SALARY AND BENEFITS: According to Schedule G of the CSEA Contract ($38,789.00)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs routine building cleaning work; does related work as required.

Laborer (Part-Time)

POSITION TITLE: Laborer (Part-Time)

REPORTING TO: Food Service Director/Assistant Food Service Director/Head Cook

LOCATION: Sand Creek Middle School

HOURS:  4.0 hours per day (Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.)

START DATE:  ASAP

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for gathering, loading, and putting away all food, supplies and equipment that is needed to cook and serve school meals.
  • Receives food and paper deliveries.
  • Organizes freezer and dry storage areas.
  • Performs some duties by lifting (40-50 lbs), reaching, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and climbing and uses loading ramp at all times when feasible as directed by Food Service Directors and Cook Managers.
  • Performs role of Cafeteria Truck Driver as needed. Operates a light motor vehicle in loading and transporting food, food service supplies and equipment among various locations and district schools, making sure that foods are loaded according to pre-determined time table to ensure the safety of foods at all times.
  • Follows oral and written instructions from Food Service Directors and Cook Managers
  • Performs related duties, as required.

SALARY: $17.86 per hour per CSEA Contract.
