Probationary 1.0 School Social Worker MS Level for 2025-2026	20250428sw	Probationary School Social Worker for 2025-2026 Middle School Level (5-8) Start Date: September 1, 2025 General Responsibilities: The School Social Worker will employ consultative skills to: work with teachers, parents, and school leaders to develop plans and strategies to improve students' academic performance and social emotional development. Work as part of the student support service/mental health team at the building and district level. Knowledge and use of research based interventions and culturally sensitive practices. Promote and support tiered intervention programs and services to intervene both directly and indirectly with children's academic, behavioral and emotional problems. Support social-emotional learning (SEL) initiatives. Knowledge of and linkage to community-based agencies and resources available to students and families, where appropriate.	Per SCTA Contract Schedule Step 1 or $56,546
